X Factor is getting to a crucial and exciting part in the process as we see a new act knocked down every week. We love seeing what Nicole is wearing during the live shows and checking out the contestant’s as they undergo celebrity makeovers…

Nicole always looks polished and glamourous during the live shows. Our favourite looks so far were her sleek and polished waves (left) and her big bouncy curls for disco week (right). Nicole’s hair is in perfect condition, meaning it looks good in every style. Nicole’s hair has some subtle strawberry blonde highlights running through it, which look striking against her gorgeous olive complexion and add something different to her look. The gorgeous sleek and tousled look (left) is the result of a good blowdry, which gives plenty of bounce and volume to flat hair, and creates soft waves as seen on Nicole. We also love Nicole’s fabulous big and bouncy corkscrew curls which she wore for disco week. This look can be created with plenty of backcombing and a small barrelled curling tong. However, you can save lots of time and get the same effect by using our bodywave extensions. Just curl your own hair all over before applying them, and finish off the look with plenty of texturising powder to get an oversized retro look.

Some of the contestants have also been wowing us with their gorgeous styles. Most recently, 16 year old stunner Tamera Foster performed in a stunning sing-off with Kingsland. Her originally dark locks are currently bleached blonde, and she wore them in an on trend centre parting with corkscrew curls. Tamera’s hair is naturally dark, and has been bleached to achieve this gorgeous creamy white chocolate shade. Bleached hair requires lots of extra hair to keep it in good condition – so if you want to achieve this look don’t forget to apply lots of deep conditioning treatments afterwards!

We also love Nicole’s girl Hannah Barrett’s classic style, and we thought her performance on Saturday night was phenomenal. The singer wore a hairpiece to complete her glamourous look, with her hair slicked back and a half wig clipped on to give her a flowing mane.
