Festival Hairstyles For Long Hair
Mermaid Hair

Mermaid hair is a great option if you love having your hair down but are after something that is out of the ordinary but still within your comfort zone. Mermaid hair is super easy to create with a triple barrel curling iron which will give you that gorgeous mermaid-esque s-shaped curls. If you want to really commit to the mermaid look, try using wavy clip-in extensions which will blend in subtly to add both texture and volume to your look.
Beachy Long Bob
Just like mermaid hair, a beachy long bob is a gorgeous, relaxed way to wear your hair down for a festival. If you feel like keeping your hair short for easy maintenance but would still like some added volume, full head clip-in extensions are still a great option. Adding some volume to your beachy look will give you an energetic festival look, and all you need to do is style your hair with a triple barrel curling iron - just like the mermaid hair, but without the need for long hair.
Half-Up Space Buns

Space buns are all the rage at the moment, and this trend is bound to continue into the next festival season. To create this hairstyle all you have to do is split the top section of your hair in two, and then create a bun with each of the two halves.
This is such a fun look, and it gives you the best of both worlds - you can show off the beautiful length of your hair, whilst keeping some of it up and out of the way. You can decorate this style with glitter down your parting or even jewels for a bold festival look. Step this look up a notch with one piece clip in hair extensions that are super lightweight and won’t weigh your hair down.
Braided buns are a great way to keep long hair out of the way, while still looking great. Again,
just part your hair, as high or low as you would like, and create two ponytails. You then need to braid the ponytails and wrap the braids around the base to create two braided buns.
These can be decorated just like space buns can, but they give your hair a little more protection than space buns can as all your hair is tied back.
Fabulous Fishtail

A fishtail braid is another gorgeous way to protect your hair from all the elements of a festival
whilst still having a beautiful, bohemian look. You can further the boho look by adding flowers or a pretty headband, anything goes at a festival! For added volume, a clip in ponytail extension does the perfect job for remaining discreet and blending in with your natural hair all at the same time.
Messy Topknot

One of the easier hairstyles on this list is the messy topknot. This will save you loads of time
getting ready in the morning and it can hide hair that is a little less than perfect after a few days partying! Just loosely put your hair in a bun, tug some hair strands at the front to frame your face with, and you're pretty much good to go! Like with the other styles, you can add any accessories that you would like – it’s such a versatile, quick and easy style!
Festival Hairstyles For Medium Length Hair
Boxer Braids With Hair Extensions

Boxer braids are cute all year round (not just for a festival!). They not only make you appear effortlessly put together, but they’re also great at protecting your hair from any unexpected weather mishaps. You can even leave them in overnight and wake up with gorgeous heat-free beachy waves the next day. If you want to take this look a step further, using brightly coloured extensions in your braids will add a pop of colour and some fun to the look!
Double Dutch Braid

Like boxer braids but a little more fierce - double dutch braids are another great option for girls who want to look effortlessly chic. You can also use bright extensions in your Dutch braids to give you commitment-free colour.
Braided Space Buns
Braided space buns are very on trend at the moment, and they make for a great festival style. These won’t take you hours to create in the morning, just create two pigtails high on your head, braid them and wrap them round the base. It really is that simple! Then you can decorate them with whatever accessories you fancy.
If you feel like adding something even bolder, you could try some clip-in bangs, for a zero-commitment appearance change. You could choose a colour close to your own hair or go for a bolder colour for an even crazier look.
Bangs & Boho Braids
Boho braids really can be anything that you would like, from a half-up plait to two plaits to a singular one. You can add some more interest to this look with bangs, and if you don't have any of your own that’s no problem! With clip-in bangs, you can effortlessly add bangs to any of the looks above!
