People’s Choice Awards – Hairstyles of the Night

The beginning of the year may be drizzly and grey – but it’s a great time of year for celeb spotting as awards season begins! We loved seeing all of our favourite stars glammed up for the People’s Choice awards – check out our favourites below…

Kat Dennings

Kat looked stunning in a strapless dress embroidered with red roses. The dress looked gorgeous against the star’s creamy pale complexion and dark raven hair. She finished the look with a slick of dark, sultry lipstick.
Kat had tweeted about an accident she’d had the previous night, cutting her finger on a knife while washing up. She had wrapped her bandages in black to blend with her dress.
We love her loose subtle waves, a look which can easily be achieved using a curling tong, or heated rollers. Kat’s wore her hair in an on trend centre parting.

Jessica Alba

Jessica looked stunning and stylish in a simple white dress with a zip through the centre which contrasted with her deep tan. Her hairstyle was sleek and stunning, a look often sported by Gwen Stefani and Kim Kardashian. Her slicked back hair was in a centre parting, falling down her back and accessorised with gold hoop earrings.

Naye Riviera

Glee star Naye showed off a new hairstyle, which was given to her by the same man who is known for styling Kim Kardashian’s locks. It comes as no surprise that Naye bore more than a passing resemblance to reality star Kim with her new auburn hair. Christina Aguilera

Christina showed off a huge weight loss in a pre-recorded comedy sketch which was aired at the awards. As always, the star looked striking with platinum blonde locks worn in a huge bed head style, achieved thanks to lots of backcombing.

Britney Spears

Britney won in the style stakes for us, with her striking jewelled dress and gorgeous matching nude shoes. Her newly dyed hair was a very pale blonde which reminds us of old-school Britney. The star took a break from her hectic show schedule in Vegas and picked up the award for best pop star!
