Clothes Show Live 2012
The Clothes Show Live, held in Birmingham, provides celebrities with the perfect opportunity to showcase their latest ventures – from beauty products to clothing lines. Reality TV stars were out in force promoting their brands, with stars from The Only Way Is Essex leading the way.
Amy Child
Famed for her over the top glamour, Amy Childs didn’t disappoint as she arrived at the Clothes Show looking groomed to perfection, her skin a dazzling shade of mahogany. Amy wore a smart but more casual dress as she stood by her stand to promote her successful clothing line. Amy posed with fans and fellow TOWIE star Gemma Collins wearing a black dress from her collection. The dress highlighted her newly enhanced cleavage and showed off her toned pins. Amy’s makeup was in her trademark style, heavy eye makeup including multiple pairs of lashes and lashings of bronzer, completed with super glossy lips. She finished her outfit off with a pair of black studded Christian Louboutin heels, the must have of any self respecting Essex girls wardrobe.Amy is instantly recognisable, not only for her perfect grooming, but for her red hair. Amy has had cherry locks ever since the show debuted over two years ago, and regularly attends the salon to keep her colour in top shiny condition.Amy loads her hair with extensions to keep it full of thickness and volume. She usually has a blow dry, or wears her hair in rollers to get huge volume and loose curls. To achieve a similar look to Amy, ClipHair offer Auburn/ginger colour range which can be blowdryed gently once in your own hair, worn in rollers, or alternatively curled before application.
Amy later took to the catwalk to show off some new dresses added to her collection, including some stunning evening gowns. She teamed the dresses with towering platforms and strutted the catwalk with confidence, to screams from her adoring fans.
Gemma Collins
Amy posed with fellow TOWIE cast member Gemma Collins, who was also at the Clothes Show to promote her clothing line. As a fuller figured lady, Gemma found trouble in getting clothes which suited and flattered her curvy physique. She decided to solve this dilemma by creating her own line of affordable and stylish clothing for plus sized women, starting from size 14. Gemma looked pretty in a design from her collection, which was heavily patterned, a great trick to distract the eye from any unwanted lumps and bumps. She wore a pair of opaque black tights along with jewelled heels. Gemma is equally as glamorous as Amy Childs when it comes to the hair and makeup department. The 31 year old looked glowing (surely thanks to a little St Tropez!) and kept her eyes looking fluttery and flirty with false lashes.
Gemma’s hair was worn down in loose curls, thanks to rollers. The TOWIE cast are all fans of Sleep Rollers, a brand which enables you to sleep in the rollers overnight, and wake up with fabulous hair. Gemma has highlighted hair, so in order to create a perfect match, ClipHair extensions in #18/613 are perfect, as they contain streaks of both brunette and blonde, keeping the perfect balance.
Maria Fowler
Another ex TOWIE member was also in attendance, this time to promote her brand of fake tan. Maria Fowler has recently recovered from Vaser Lipo surgery and showed off the amazing results in a fitted dress as she posed for photos with fans.
The star makes no secret for her love of hair extensions, and she didn’t disappoint as she showed off flowing chestnut locks, which were lightly tousled. A Medium Brown #4, mixed with #30 Light Auburn would be the perfect shade for Maria from the ClipHair range.
