The Red Carpet Style Celebrities Are Loving – DIP DYE

You only have to take a glance at the beautiful celebrities posing on the red carpet at awards ceremonies and star studded bashes to get an idea of the trends which will be filling your magazine pages for months ahead. Recently, we’ve noticed a huge influx in the number of celebrities sporting subtly dip dyed barnets preened to perfection at big events. To coincide with the launch of our own dip-dye extensions, we’ve taken a look at our favourite styles, proving dip-dye can be glamourous and elegant, as well as boho and rock n’roll.

Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore has been many shades before but none has suited her quite as well as this gorgeous ombre shade. Previously, Drew has had an all over bleach blonde shade, which left her pretty features and creamy complexion slightly washed out. Jessica Alba proves that ombre can look just as stunning and beautiful when styled to perfection as it does when worn messy and bedhead!

The beautiful actress wears a gorgeous light chesnut to honey blonde shade, which flatters her olive skin an gives her look a fresh update. The ombre look can have a really slimming effect on the face as the darker shade around the face makes it appear smaller, while the blonde shade drags the eye down. Perfect for the indecisive girl who likes the best of both worlds! The star has also sported the look in a slightly longer style, with brushed out waves which makes her look more boho and relaxed, the perfect style for chilled out festivals and lazy summer days.

Jessie J loves to surprise us with crazy hairstyles and wacky outfit choices, and the star didn’t disappoint when she showed off this vibrant dip dye shade. Her black hair was sleek, polished and smooth and was brought to life with bright and rich purple tips. The super straight style drew attention to the colour even more, and made a really eyecatching overall look.

Rihanna

Rihanna is known for her outrageous fashion choices and fondness for changing her hair colour as frequently as she changes her clothes. The star recently stepped out with GREY hair stating that it was ‘the new black’. We preferred Rihanna’s look here, where she looked stunning and elegant wearing a glamourous couture gown. Her subtle ombre locks were styled in immaculate curls which cascaded down her back. The centre parting kept the look fresh and on trend.
